• Northeast Zone is considered best for Study room followed by North and East. Jupiter is ruler of northeast and of knowledge. So we get directional advantage in northeast study.

• One should face towards East or North while studying, It improves the concentration.

• Large windows in Northeast corner of study room are highly recommended. It charges the positive energy of the study room. Doors can be in North, East or West direction.

• One should not sit under a beam while studying. If its unavoidable then beams must be covered with false Ceilings.

• Study place should have lots of natural lights. It enhances the retaining power of Students. Apart from natural lights, there should be ample lighting available.

• Student should put their back towards west or South. A Solid wall behind the student provides extra mental support.

• Table should be square or rectangular and must not be placed against a wall. There should be some gap between the table and wall.

• Large cupboards and bookshelves should be placed in the southwest direction of the study room.

• Study room should be painted light shades of Green, Blue and yellow.

• Electric equipment like Television and Music system should not be there in the study room. However if a computer is necessary then it can be placed in Southeast part of the room.

• Bookshelves should not be a part of Study table. Also it’s not advisable to have a bookshelf just above the study table.

• Bhagwan Ganpati ji is the God of Wisdom and knowledge. A Studying Ganeshji picture is very auspicious here. Students can also place picture of Saraswati Mata for Guidance and clarity of mind. These pictures should be places in Northwest corner of the study room.
