• Best zone for Car parking or a garage is Northwest of the house. Alternatively Southeast can be used for the purpose.

• Car parking shed or Garage wall must not touch the main house building or the boundary wall of the house.

• Heights of Garage should be less than the main building of the house. One must also ensure that the Garage gate should be less than height of main entrance gate of the house.

• A car park should not be in the Northeast. Vehicle is a heavy object and parking here makes northeast heavy, which is against the basics of Vastu shastra.

• A Car park in Southwest leads to rare use of Vehicle. This is the direction of Rahu. A vehicle parked here also in need for constant repairs.

• Slope of Garage floor and roof should be from South to North or West to East.

• The Vehicles should be faced towards North or East while parking.

• If the car park is constructed as a part of main building of the house, then one must ensure that there is no extension of any part of the house.
