Choosing the right slope direction is considered most important in Vastu. Most experts of Vastu shastra believe if the slope of floor and roof of a building is in the right direction it removes at least one fourth of vastu doshas of that building.

As per vastu shastra, buildings sloping towards East and North are considered very auspicious. Such buildings can give prosperity along with good health and wealth.

Before planning and designing a building one must consider the slope of the building whether the building is being used for commercial purpose of for residential purpose. Slope must be from South West towards Northeast. South west of the building must be highest and northwest must be the lowest.

Look at the drawing 4 is highest and 1 is the lowest.

So as per this Drawing Southwest must be the highest followed by Southeast then Northwest and Northeast being the lowest.

If a building follows this slope design, at least 25% of vastu doshas are removed from that building.

If we do not design slope slopes as per vastu it might create lots of problems that we shall discuss in some other topic.
