The drawing room is an important module of the house which is used to welcome and entertain the Guests. However in some houses Drawing room is same as the living room so that the members of family spend a lot of time together here, that makes it even more important.

1. Best Area for making Drawing Room in a house is, NorthWest, North or East of the house.
2. Door of the Drawing room should also be in North or East, as these directions are most auspicious.
3. Heavy articles or Furniture and decoration should be kept on the South or Western side of the drawing Room.
4. We should try to keep more open space on North and Eastern side. It keeps the flow of positive energy in the Drawing Room.
5. An Aquarium or Water fountain can be placed in Northeast side. It strengthens the positivity of Northeast direction.
6. Artificial flowers and dead flowers must not be kept in the drawing room.
7. Television, Phone like electrical items and fireplace if any should be kept in Southeast direction.
8. Gloomy pictures, Portraits of distressed people, scenes of war etc. should not be kept in the drawing room. Such picture creates negativity and must be removed from home.
9. To enhance positivity a mirror can be placed on North or East directions.
10. Head of the house should sit on the Southwest corner of the drawing room. This arrangement ensures him to be in dominating position.
